MICHAEL, BILLY AND ME...

I've been meaning to post about these two men who've, whether you liked them or not, made their mark on my life. It's been a little over 2 months since both Michael Jackson and Billy Mays died. We'll start with Michael...

Michael Jackson was so cool while I was growing up. I remember getting a Michael Jackson microphone when I was probably 7 years old, I owned his Thriller cassette tape, and even made my own sequenced glove to wear! My best friend, Tammy, had his Thriller videotape and we would watch that over and over in her basement (and I would get SOOO scared!) I still really like listening to his music so, here's to you, Michael Jackson -


After hearing of Michael's death, I went online to show the kids who he was. While looking through the array of pics, Harrison noticed his "changing" appearance and said, "so, he started out a boy and died a woman?! Is that why you liked him?"

After Michael died, we got out our Michael Jackson music to listen to for fun, and the kids loved it...so, we have created two of Michael's biggest fans, just a little too late. In fact, Harrison asked me the other day if he would get to see Michael Jackson when he dies?!? o.k...looks like we need to take a break from listening to Michael's music!! Tyler - Beat It! He will even say, "Beat It" while we listen to the song



Now, for Billy Mays...

Although our relationship was much shorter, couldn't live without some of the products he endorsed, especially OXICLEAN!!! I Have been using it since McKenna was born!
