HAPPY HOLIDAYS - THE KEY PHRASE

I have come to accept that I am late for everything...meetings, doctor appointments, thank yous, birthdays, family gatherings, and holiday greetings...I believe it was a person just like me that invented the phrase, "happy holidays". So, even though Christmas has past, we are still in the "holiday" season and therefore the card is still valid!! I hope most of you have received your card (I did technically get them out BEFORE Christmas in the mail) but if not, here's our 2008 card - Happy Holidays everyone!

TYLER'S TEETH

So, Tyler has now pushed through 4 teeth in 9 months (some people have told me that's fast) I am a little worried, though, about the overcrowding I'm already seeing in his mouth!! Take a look at the picture - what do you think?!?



I guess he has the same teeth as the rest of the kids!!



One of McKenna's friends gave her these silly teeth for her birthday, and the kids have had nothing but fun with them (as have I).

No one can deny, no matter who you are, that Tyler is one of THE cutest babies around!! (in my UNbiased opinion)

HARRISON FUNNIES

Harrison is one of the funniest kids I've ever known...he says some of the funniest things. Here are a few from the last few days:

Harrison likes to wear his socks to bed and then change them in the morning (is this why boys feet stink more than girls?!?) I will admit there are days when he wears the same socks more than one day..so, the other day we were getting ready to leave to the store and I noticed Harrison didn't have socks on. I told him to go get some socks on. He came back in with a pair in hand and asked me to help him get them on.

me: "Harrison, are those clean socks?"

Harrison: "Yes..." (with that certain look on his face)

me: " Are you sure? Are you telling me the truth?"

Harrison: (with a bit of frustation in his voice) "Yes, they are clean...pause...a few days ago."


The next morning, Adam was helping Harrison get ready for the day and told him he neede to brush his teeth like dad was getting ready to do. Harrison asked why we need to brush our teeth (he's such a big fan of it). Adam then told him if we don't brush our teeth our breath will stink. Adam then breathed on Harrison and said, "did that smell good?!?" Harrison looked at Adam and said, "It smells like poopay!" Adam said, "What?!? What is poopay?!?" Harrison looked at him and said, "You know, poopay - when the horses poop on the hay and it smells like POOP-HAY!!"

The last funny happened yesterday at church. I had gone home early, so this story comes from Adam. He was picking the kids up from Primary when a lady grabbed Adam and told him how funny Harrison was today in church. It was during sunday school sharing time and the Primary President was up giving her lesson. Now according to Kim (the one telling this to Adam) the teacher had been going on, and on, and on...so finally Harrison said, "When are you going to stop talking?!? Agh, you've been talking for like fifty hundred hours!" I would have loved to see the look on the teacher up there as well as everyone elses...you've got to love kids!!

THIS IS HALLOWEEN

The weather was exceptionally nice this year - the kids didn't even need coats to go trick-or-treating!!

and, of course, the kids had plenty of candy to last them until Christmas (in fact, I'm half tempted to reuse the candy at Christmas!!)

SEIZE THE DAY

As soon as a woman finds out she's going to become a mother, she instantly is filled with excitement, and (the dreaded) expectations. Millions of exciting expectations for her unborn child and a billion more for herself. A couple of the expectations I thought would be easy to achieve were to 1. have a baby book completed for each of my children (hasn't happened so far) 2. keep a journal for all of my children's funny sayings, silly stories, all my feelings for them (again, hasn't happened yet). The baby books are in my "craft" closet with a few random pages done, and the journals are still in the shrink wrap from the store. Everyday I feel the guilt of missing yet another funny story etc from the kids and think, "I have really got to get on this..." so, today I am seizing the day!
To start off, here's a look at my three adorable children:

MCKENNA - my first born, beautiful little girl who is almost six years old! She is such a sweetie - always trying to make everyone feel happy and included. I look at her baby pictures on my dresser at night and still tear up at how cute she was!! She is the "second mom" in our family and I love her so much!!





HARRISON - born just 20 months after McKenna, he is a "firecracker"!! He is my beautiful blue-eyed rosy cheeked boy! He is into every superhero, villain, action hero out there! He's so smart - I can't believe he's only three (well, he'll be four this month)Harrison is MY BOY - I love him to pieces!

TYLER - my best baby to date! (no offense to the other two) Tyler is so bright-eyed and has the cutest smile!! He is so laid back...Heaven knew I needed him if there are to be anymore Crom kids. My heart hurts a bit when I think he's already 8 months old and crawling!! He is definitely going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up!

So, there's a peek at my kids. I love them so much and hope this blog does their cuteness, funniness, and my love for them justice.
